When an item is shared, its price shows a split indicator that divides into equal colored parts — one per person sharing it — so you can see how many ways it's divided without reading any numbers.

What about odd cents?

When a shared price doesn't divide evenly — say $10.00 across three people — SplitFair uses a largest-remainder split so the shares are as equal as possible and still add back up to the exact item price. One person might pay $3.34 while two pay $3.33; the total is always exactly $10.00.
