Open any past bill to review the items, who had what, and each person's total. ## Running balances As bills add up, SplitFair tracks the net balance between you and each friend — shown in plain words, like "Ben owes you $51.93" or "You owe Sam $12.40." Direction is always carried by words and an arrow, never by color alone, so it's clear at a glance. ## Settling up When someone pays you back (or you pay them), you can bring your balance back to even.
